Admire their leadership and aura

The list of people below, they deserve to be my IDOLS....

1. Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad

still reading this...very informative

Rasa bertuah hidup di zaman kepimpinan Tun. No words to describe about this brave-wise man. His leadership and ideas. I wish:
a) I could spend a day (at least) with him, so that I could learn the way he thinks, the way he speaks and his leadership.
b) I am old enough at that time so that I could serve and work with him ( He's PM and I am TPM...)
Whatever people might say about him, but for me he is my idol...semoga Allah merahmati hambaNya ini dunia dan akhirat...amiin

2. Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Ungku Aziz

sweet and yet powerful

Setiap kali Dr Zeti muncul di kaca tv, aku akan beri sepenuh perhatian- tak kiralah aku faham atau tidak. She talks about economy and I am engineer.... we speak different languages... but aku tetap akan dengar jugak. One think I realise about her, dia tak suka memandang camera when she speaks to reporters ( maybe she's camera-shy). Beliau pernah terpilih sebagai world's best central banks chief, and the best is Tan Sri Dr Zeti Akhtar Aziz was nominated as one of four nominees to head the prestigious International Monetary Fund (IMF) after the position became vacant following the resignation of Dominique Strauss-Kahn. She must be a very strict and firm boss..... I like to work under this kind of people because they keep me moving forward.

3. Sultan Ibrahim Iskandar, Sultan Johor

Raja berjiwa rakyat. Bermula dengan Kembara Tengku Mahkota Johor. Baginda seorang yang mempunyai aura yang sangat kuat. Berada berhampiran tuanku, buat aku rasa berdebar.... jumpa MD pun aku tak berdebar macam ni... Bagi aku, sekiranya berlaku huru-hara di Malaysia, hanya institusi Kesultanan Melayu yang mampu mempertahankan kemerdekaan negara. Daulat Tuanku.

Back to nature Getaway.....

Today 28/4/2012 (Saturday), actually kat KL ada perhimpunan Bersih 3.0 – duduk bantah.  Because of avoiding all the massive traffic jams like what had happened during Bersih 2.0 last time, I decided to take a vacation. A perfect back to nature getaway. This time I chose Gopeng, Adeline’s Rest House.

This time aku pergi dengan Aznol. I hope he will enjoy the getaway…….

Pondok buluh- selesa

Bertolak dari Subang Jaya about 8.00am, non-stop sampai ke Gopeng menerusi PLUS highway. Setelah exit di Gopeng, kita orang just follow the map given by the rest house. Kinda easy. Tak sesat, terus sampai about 10.30am. Setelah checked-in kami terus ke rest house. Actually Adeline’s has 2 type of accommodations. Villa and rest house. Due to villas fully booked kami stay di rest house – a hut, pondok buluh actually…really back to nature…kesian aznol….. Almaklumlah, aku called for booking pun about a week je…lepas watched Astro Chanel 702, Discovery Perak.

After lunch provided by the rest house, we are preparing for our caving activities. Sounds like fun, the last time I went for caving was on February, Gua Gelap, Gua Keris and Gua Pahlawan (kot..forgotten), sewaktu XPDC Gunung Stong with Alesco Explorer Club (AEC) kat Kelantan.

Gua Kandu

Gua Kandu, Gopeng gua pilihan. Actually ada 2 gua, satu lagi is gua tempurung. But due to masa yang suntuk kami just pergi Gua Kandu. This time, aku dan Aznol tak pergi berdua sahaja. We are accompanied by  a group of 10 from Negeri Sembilan. Trekkers Along & Andrew. Big group is enjoying too…..much much better dari if pergi berdua je. They are fun and friendly.

Dari rest house, cuba teka kami pergi naik apa? Naik lorry….!!!Duduk kat belakang.  Terasa macam lembu nak disembelih plak…hahaha…

Trekker habaq kat kami, it takes about 2hours for this caving trip. Perjalanan bermula dengan a short jungle trekking, tapi letih gak la coz terpaksa mendaki guna tali. Tak perlu laju-laju coz we are not in a race, we are here to enjoy mother nature. Sambil trekking sambil melihat keindahan alam ciptaan Allah.

Biasalah dalam gua gelap, so  torch light is required. Nasib baik aku ada bawak…. Terpukau gak la aku tengok all the stalagtite & stalagmite formation dalam gua ni. Keajaiban alam ciptaan tuhan. Terjadi akibat titisan air beratus-ratus tahun…masyaAllah….. Tapi tak boleh sentuh, coz ditakuti akan membantutkan formation tersebut… let’s let nature works by itself okay….

Gua Kandu caving activity is really adventurous, macam-macam gaya kita orang buat…. Bukan setakat berjalan, mendaki tapi merangkak, melompat etc. Agak lasak, that’s what we are looking for actually. Di bahagian gua yang agak curam, tali disediakan. So we all kene lah buat macam-macam gaya, jalan ketam, jalan kebelakang…. Letih gak la…. Seronok!!!

Malam, we are served with barbeque …. First class…memang terbaik dari ladang….

Malam ada activity night jungle trekking, kalau berminat boleh la join…. Tapi aku just duduk lepak je la….

Percutian kali ini memang seronok. Terputus hubungan dengan dunia luar- no hp, no internet, no tv and no radio….totally terputus. Yang ada cuma all the guests, flora & fauna, dan komuniti orang asli. Hinggakan aku terlupa hari.... suasana sekeliling tenang, bersih, nyaman dan hijau….. and the people who I just met – they’re very friendly.

Apabila sampai di rumah, aku pun start on facebook…. Terkejut!!! Some of my friends updated their status on the Bersih 3.0 issue. Videos & photos, semuanya menunjukkan keganasan, huru-hara. Seketika aku rasa, bestnya kalau aku terus tinggal kat Adeline’s. Tenang, aman, dan segar….. Suddenly, I decided apabila dah pencen nanti nak stay kat Muar, Johor – my kampung. Hoping at that time, Muar still like today- unchanged. Some place we need to keep it untouched……….

p/s: ooo...in the end of the getaway, Aznol admits he enjoyed it and asks me for next back to nature trip....

XPDC Stong with AEC

Xpdc ni dah lama dah...february 2012, tapi baru hari ni berpeluang nak tulis. Just tuk abadikan kengan ni untuk renungan bila dah tua nanti (that means sekarang ni aku masih muda lagi - young at heart ... at least).
Xpdc kali ini disetai oleh 21orang.... meriah!! The more the merrier rite. Xpdc paling jauh buat ALESCO Explorer Club (AEC). Dari Shah Alam ke Dabong, Kelantan.

Perjalanan dimulakan dengan menaiki Komuter dari Shah Alam, so kami semua berkumpul di station komuter.

Train ke Dabong, Kelantan dari KL Sentral bertolak jam 8.30pm. Kita orang memilih untuk duduk di kerusi sahaja- tidak katil...kerana katanya semua masih gagah lagi- bertenaga. Kami tiba di Dabong stesen about at 8 in the morning.

Setelah selesai bersarapan, kami di bawa oleh trekkers untuk explore 3gua yang berdekatan- Gua Gelap, Gua Keris, Gua Pagar. Seronok... nyaman..tenang dan mengagumkan. Indahnya ciptaan ALLAH - stalagmite & stalagtite terhasil dari titisan air selama beratus tahun...mungkin juga berjuta. Kami diingatkan oleh Jebat(trekker) agar tidak menyentuh batu-batu di dalam gua kerana ditakuti boleh membantutkan proses semulajadinya.

Hampir 2 jam gak la kami mengeksplorasi 3gua ni. Then xpdc diteruskan dengan mendaki gunung Stong. Perjalanan agak mencabar coz tanah basah ekoran hari hujan sebelum itu. Kaki aku sampai kejang la jugak untuk sampai ke Kem Baha tempat untuk berkhemah dan bermalam sebelum meneruskan perjalanan mendaki puncak Stong keesokkan harinya
